A downloadable game for Windows

Scheherazade's Journey is a 3D-Puzzle-Platformer. You are Scheherazade, who tries to return to her home village, while protecting a plant from drying up in the desert.

The game was originally created within a week for the Winter 2020 A8 Game Jam under the theme Keep It Alive. Currently I am expanding the game with new levels and features.

This is Version 1.3 - the definitive version of the game, with ten levels, more game mechanics, sound effects, bugfixes and Quality of Life improvements.

You play as Scheherazade, who is trying to cure a devastating disease in her home village. The only hope comes from a mystical plant growing deep in the desert. After days of wandering the desert, Scheherazade finally finds the miraculous plant. But the real trouble has just begun. How can she protect this sensitive plant within the hostile desert.

So hurry up to solve the puzzles and find Oases on your way. Her peoples only hope lies in your hands.

You can play the game using your keyboard or a gamepad. In the main menu you can change the key bindings according to your preferences.

Thank you for your kind review! I am very glad that you enjoyed the game and that the last levels were challenging, because that's what a puzzle platformer is all about, isn't it.

Regarding your question: It was a 7 day game jam ;)

This is a great podcast you two are running! An interesting combination of game design and just gaming.

This is great! Simple yet effective.  I like puzzle games that kind of teach themselves.

I' m glad you perceived it that way! That you discover the game's mechanics by yourself was actually one of the goals of this prototype.

Yes, definitely mission accomplished!

Might be fun.

If you like puzzle games you will probably likes this one too!

I haven't played it yet, so I'm not sure. Then again I'm usually busy working on other YouTube videos of mine & such.
